Two blocks up from Erie Road. Street parking along Garrison; longer stays use the municipal lot behind Derby.
Coming from Buffalo? Take the Peace Bridge, follow QEW signs toward Fort Erie, then Garrison Road west into Crystal Beach. About fifteen minutes from the border on a clear day.

Seventy-percent hydration, overnight cold proof. Crust that cracks; crumb that holds butter.

Caraway and cracked rye. The loaf regulars buy two of before a long weekend.

We take a second oven load to the outdoor stall beside the shop. Border weekend traffic is welcome — just know the croissants don’t wait for the bridge to clear.
What shows up at the stall
Same dough as the counter. Extra fruit pies in summer. Pre-bagged sandwich loaves for cottages heading back across.

- Rain moves us under the awning — we don’t cancel
How to order
No delivery app. No online cart. Call or email, we confirm, you pick up at the counter.

Tell us the loaves, the day, and a window. Before 10am is best — the board fills by lunch on Fridays.
We confirm
You’ll get a text or email with the total and a pickup time. We hold reserved orders until close that day.
Pick up warm
Counter on Garrison. Name on the bag. If you’re stuck at the bridge, call — we’ll keep it aside.
Questions we get most
Do you take custom cake orders?
Layer cakes for birthdays and small gatherings, yes — with at least five days’ notice. We don’t do wedding tiers or fondant sculpture. Call and ask what’s on the schedule that week.
Are you open on holiday Mondays?
Usually closed Mondays year-round, including holiday Mondays. The Saturday before a long weekend is our busiest counter day — pre-order if you can.
Do you have gluten-free bread?
Not as a standing loaf. The kitchen runs wheat all day, so we don’t claim a separate GF line. A few pastry items rotate without wheat flour — ask at the counter that morning.
Can I pay with a US card?
Yes. Interac and major cards work. We price in Canadian dollars; your bank handles the conversion. Cash in either currency is fine at the market stall.
When does the peach pie season start?
When Niagara peaches are actually good — usually mid to late July. Until then it’s last season’s frozen fruit, and we say so on the board.
